Timeless Home
Truly Impressive Home with Truly Impressive AV System to Match
This project took us to a beautiful Victorian home that has been meticulously restored to create a timeless combination of heritage and modern looks. The challenge was to ensure the AV solutions integrated seamlessly with the unique interior design of the house, and were designed to allow for future expansion.
The home theatre features a 61" plasma screen and a sound system selected for its exceptional quality. Floor, centre and ceiling speakers provide impressive clarity and not one, but two subwoofers are installed for extra impact.
An AMX MAX server allows thousands of CDs and DVDs to be stored and then distributed to different AV set-ups in the house. AV systems are also installed in the kitchen/living area, and the bathroom.
AMX was chosen as the control system to bring all components of the integration together. Three LCD touchscreens are located throughout the house for fast and convenient control of their AV, heating, cooling and security systems. One of the LCD screens includes video monitoring. All the AV components are neatly organised in a temperature controlled custom-built storage cabinet.
