Funding effecting Audio Video Installations

It appears the latest fine-print added to the government's Building Education Revolution (BER) Funding guidelines has caused confusion and frustration for some schools.

Many schools plan to use their funds to upgrade their classroom technology to include interactive whiteboards and have been researching the right brand to suit their needs.

What Interactive Whiteboard can I select?

The government has stipulated that BER funding will only be made available for schools purchasing three brands - Smartboard, Teamboard and Mimio, regardless of the fact that the school may already have other brands installed, or whether these brands meet their functionality and budgetary requirements.

How do I get the right smartboard for my classroom?

The good news is, if your school would prefer to purchase another brand under the BER Funding, all you need to do is provide a written application to the Department of Education with reasoning for the alternative choice
