The Sonos PLAY:5 (formerly the ZonePlayer S5) has long been the industry benchmark for wireless multi-room all-in-one solutions. The Sonos ZonePlayers work seamlessly over a wifi network streaming music throughout the house (or office) via the wireless PLAY:5 speakers.
Now Sonos have introduced the smaller and more affordable Sonos PLAY:3. These speakers still deliver the same high-fidelity sound that you have come to expect from Sonos all packaged in a neat little white or black unit. Featuring three drivers and three digital amps in each speaker, you are sure to be impressed!
With the help of a wireless bridge plugged into your LAN, it is possible to run up to 16 Sonos PLAY:3 speakers simultaneously. The Sonos software allows you play either the same music in every room or different music in each of the zones. And for those of you who wish to be completely wireless you can also control the system from the comfort of the lounge with mobile apps for iPhone, iPad and Android phones available.
