VICTRACK

Intricate AV System with High Tech Possibilities
VicTrack have recently created a new high-tech National Operations Centre to allow them to monitor and manage networks and needed an AV system to support this. The centre would be operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The project involved the installation of four projectors and four 1.5m fixed projector screens, aligned side by side in the Network Operations Centre (NOC). There were two Plasma screens installed at the rear of the room. The adjoining Boardroom had a projector, concealed motorised screen and AMX touch screen installed also.
Ten separate computers have been set up to monitor various parts of the network and can be displayed on any of the 4 projectors and plasma’s. At any one time, the computer displays will cycle through the displays providing a constant view of the networks.
An AMX touch screen allows the user to manually select any of the computers, DVD or Digital TV and display them on any of the projectors or plasma screens in any combination. This is done via the Extron matrix switcher and scaler. There is a distributed audio system which is used for any audible alarms, DVD or Digital TV.
The adjoining Boardroom can be run independently or can link to the NOC to view any of the network computers, DVD or Digital TV.
