Hybrid work takes centre stage with new Zoom rooms at HESTA

As an Employer of Choice winner, HESTA has consistently demonstrated dedication to sustainability and staff well-being. In 2021, they chose to prioritise hybrid work environments.

To achieve this, HESTA collaborated with InSight Systems, leveraging their suite of services – from expert consulting and efficient project execution to reliable managed services. This helped create the perfect balance between flexibility and productivity.

The Brief

HESTA approached us for our expertise in workplace technology. The objective was to realise their vision of equipping levels 24 and 25 in their existing city building with audio visual solutions that prioritised flexibility and collaboration. With an eye on Green Star ratings, sustainability was a key factor. Industry-leading power management enabled them to reduce emissions from staff travel by offering high quality video conferencing systems for the home office up to large scale town halls led by Zoom which is HESTA’s go-to choice.

Their brief was clear: Deliver workspaces with Audio Visual systems that people would be encouraged (even excited!) to use.

The Solution

The solution was to provide an expansive Zoom deployment including two floors with meeting rooms equipped with up-to-date workplace technology.

HESTA’s premium spaces now offer flexible furniture and AV technology that is powerful yet simple-to-use, enabling people to move between different sized environments without hassle.

As a special feature, we also custom developed HESTA Heart, a special space which offers tiered seating positioned between the two floors, as well as large LED video walls ideal for Town Hall style events.

HESTA’s goal was an office environment with modern aesthetics, complete with Zoom-enabled meeting rooms on two floors, scalable signage throughout the space, and one large event area also equipped with Zoom technology.

Through careful and timely planning, the project was completed on schedule, providing staff with an office space they could be proud of.

The Result

A successful completion that left satisfied users eager to take advantage of their new technology setup! Early collaboration between HESTA and InSight Systems throughout all stages of the project helped deliver a modern office with a consistent, glitch-free user experience, across small and large rooms. This new workplace environment using Zoom technology seamlessly, will aid collaboration and productivity immensely.

The transition to a modern office was greatly aided by the installation of a large video wall with Zoom solutions, providing HESTA with an efficient workflow and comprehensive user experience across their entire meeting space.
