Repco

Following a previous installation job, Repco asked InSight Systems to  design and implement a fully integrated video conferencing system in the Repco boardroom. With a very tight deadline the design team immediately set to work finalising the design. As aesthetics were an important part of the project our drafting department presented Repco with a series of concept drawings based on the designs put forward by the design department. Once a final design was confirmed, our project manager assigned a team of audio visual installers to the project and designed a work schedule to ensuring that the project was completed within the timeframe allocated by Repco.
The project required InSight Systems to integrate new speakers, amp, display panels and a projector with the existing Polycom video conferencing equipment. Whilst undertaking this project the design and installation team have installed additional cabling so that Repco will be able to upgrade to a fully automated AMX controlled system, should they require, at a later date.

The design team faced a number of difficulties working within the space as ceiling space was limited and they had to be creative about the positioning of all of the equipment. The final product however offered a no-compromise solution that performed exactly as Repco had specified.

When Repco first approached InSight Systems our design team were dubious that it was possible to complete the project within the allocated timeframe. The boardroom was heavily used and there was only a very small window for the work to be completed before a large annual meeting. However due to all of the hard work put in by our skilled team of audio visual installers, InSight Systems was able to deliver the completed project on schedule.

During this installation InSight Systems successfully integrated the following products with the existing Polycom video conferencing equipment:

• Mitsubishi 65” LCD Panels
• Screentechnic screen
• Marantz amp
• RTI Control
• KEF speakers
