Technology Strategy

In order to increase customer engagement and support a diverse range of members, one of Australias most successful industry based Superannuation funds undertook a transformation of their business technology. Strategy discussions identified a need to create an Australia wide business centre with updated audio visual technology to provide a user friendly experience for members from multiple demographics.

As a predominately back office company, our client required an audio visual solution that would support members who required virtual customer service and a large pool of Account Managers located across Australia.

InSight Systems long standing experience in developing and delivering technology strategy allowed us to have a very clear understanding of the client’s business and we were able to tailor an innovative AV solution that would enable employees to virtually connect with members from a number of locations and attend head office meetings remotely.

The AV solution

The strategy discussions made it very clear that any technology solution implemented required functionality that provided a consistent user experience across small groups, remote members and large scale internal training. This included the ability to connect and communicate with internal employees and staff frequently travelling enabling them to utilise the service regardless of their location.

An initial technology fit in a sandpit area allowed us to trial systems and measure success with the client and their users. This was a very important part of the strategy plan and ensured buy in from key stakeholders across the business. The successful trial led to a national roll out across Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Canberra. The AV solution introduced new technologies to the client with a user friendly interface, wireless connectivity and presentation features among a host of collaboration and engagement tools.

The result

The client was able to achieve a measurable cost savings and ensure life cycle management of their technology fleet through a national maintenance agreement that virtually supports their network.
