Impressive AV Integration – Leading Edge Functionality

InSight Systems was proud to be selected from a field of other AV experts, to do this particular installation.  Our brief from this well-known client was to provide leading-edge Audio Visual solutions at V-Line‘s headquarters.  This exciting project involved a number of their meeting and training facilities.

The most impressive integration was undoubtedly that of their Crisis Room – a meeting centre for monitoring and managing any emergency that the V-Line network might be involved in.  Here an AV solution was required that would allow two independently functioning, adjoining meeting rooms to become one, thereby creating a centralised Crisis Room for use in an emergency situation.

The rooms included state-of-the-art projectors, motorised screens, LCD screens, an audio system and an user-friendly AMX control system.

In the event of an emergency, V-Line’s management can easily select “Crisis Mode” on the AMX control system, activating all elements of the AV system to the pre-programmed emergency mode set-up.  For example, projectors, LCD displays, the digital set-top box, and Foxtel decoder, will turn on and immediately start to display any live news coverage that the major channels are broadcasting (this is a crucial aspect of monitoring remote incidents).  The wireless, touch-screen AMX control panel is located on the wall in a docking station and can be removed when control is required from other locations within either of the training rooms.

Audio and Video recording equipment will also be activated to record important footage and broadcasts.

The result is an impressive multi-functional meeting room solution that allows our client to operate effectively and efficiently on a day-to-day basis, as well as in those out-of-the ordinary circumstances.
